We’re very proud to say that we’ve won the Insurance Start-Up Award at the British Insurance Awards 2013, known as the ‘Oscars’ of the insurance industry.

Hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr at the Royal Albert Hall last night (3 July), it was a nerve-racking wait for the iCarhireinsurance team before we were handed our gong.

As our twitter feed (@icarhire) said our founder and CEO Ernesto Suarez “went nuts” when the announcement was made and to our knowledge is still celebrating. Ernesto told Post Magazine after our win: “From the start, we put the customer at the very heart of our operation and this is what, we believe, has made us successful."

We have revolutionised the car hire insurance industry which was in dire need of reform to give customers a great car hire excess insurance product at a great price. We also have a fabulous team here who work tirelessly to ensure you receive the best possible service and we look forward to many more achievements.
