Since mankind first imagined cars they have changed, advanced and improved at an incredible pace. Without a doubt the evolution of the shape and design of cars has been significant, but it’s the technology that lies within them that is truly unrecognisable.

As innovations from motor sports such as Formula 1 filter down in to everyday cars, we find ourselves in control of vehicles so sophisticated we don’t even fully appreciate their capabilities.

In fact, a recent survey found that 20% of new car users failed to use or even know about some of the gadgets and features at their disposal.
